tpms installation

Hey guys can someone tell me, if I'm having my sensors installed on a set of wheels, do you have to balance wheels again or can they gain acces without having to dismount the hole thing.

Thanks

BretW is infamous around these parts
The sensors are heavier than standard valve stems, so they'll need to be balanced after the install.

The rims are wide enough, so you could possibly break the bead on the valve stem side and switch out the sensors without moving the tire on the rim. I've never dealt with Porsche TPMS sensors, so I don't know if the outer tire bead will clear the sensor with the inner bead seated. It shouldn't affect the balance, but there is that possibility and you might end up taking the car back to the shop to have them balanced.
