Question about same tire size on different wheel sizes

Can someone give me some insight into how a different wheel size affects the same tire size? In other words, if I put the same tire (say, 295/30R18) on two different wheels (18X10 and 18X11), how will that be different -- in terms of look and handling?

Thanks in advance.

The rears will look more stretched compared to the fronts due to the different wheel width. Handling wise you probably will not feel much of a difference since you will be running a 295 anyways.

Sorry I wasn't more clear. Both sizes would be options for the rears. I just have an option of getting 18X10s or 18X11s, and I noticed they both recommend the same tire size.

I know for sure that 285/35R18 on a 10.5 wheel is blocked, so depending on what brand of tires also will the strength of the tire side wall be.

In case you are interested I have a pair of Yokohama Advan Neovas in 295/30R18 brand new for sale. The neovas have a pretty stiff side wall so I think on a 18x11 would be better.
