Huf IntelliSens TPMS Senors...Anyone have experience with them?

I bought a set for a winter wheel set I put together and the tire shops around me appear incapable of turning them on. Anyone in the community have experience with this type of programmable sensor?

Thanks in advance for the help.

I happen to be looking for a new set of TPMS as well. From what I have found out, HUF is the OEM TPMS manufacturer for Porsche. Check out this thread.

Ok, after several more attempts at two tire shops this story has a happy ending. I have active sensors! I must give a big shout out to Garrett at shoptpms.com (no affiliation). I didn't purchase these from him, yet he responded to this posting for help and made himself available to answer any and all of my questions until success was achieved. He's certainly earned my future sensor business.

In the end the secret sauce was confirming the tire shop had the right TPMS device (Bartec 400 SD), and the tech knew the right menu flow, which Garrett provided, to configure the sensor. With the right information in hand the guys at Costco had the sensors active in 15 minutes. Car learned them in less than a mile.

Here's the menu flow in case others want to use these sensors. The sequence is as follows (this is from the starting screen after powering on the tool):

Choose 'Program Sensor' from opening screen,
Then Porsche,
Then 911,
Then 2013,
Then IntelliSens
Then Create Sensor Set

Note, these sensors are a great value compared to pre-programmed "direct-fit" sensors. They are made by Huf (Porsche's OEM manufacturer) and cost about half as much. I paid $225 for a set of four.
