Hi all,

I recently picked up a set of 3-piece wheels for my 958 Cayenne Turbo but they needed a bit of love. The centers were originally chrome which has now been stripped. I dropped them at a very reputable rim shop for refurbishment but after inspection, they need more than just a quick polish and I could do with some thoughts from the community on what to do with them.

The original idea was to go for a brushed & polished look, like HRE's brushed clear, but the shop have suggested that there's some pretty bad pitting on both the centers and lips so they won't be able to clear the polishing after it's done. I live in PA and really don't want to look after a bare metal finish given how bad recent winters have been but I'm a little concerned about how a silver painted lip would look. I was also looking to have some contrast between the centers and lips, but I'm not sure how easy that'll be if we paint them (I definitely want to go silver rather than gunmetal or black).

Any thoughts/suggestions/recommendations would be really helpful. Thanks for your help!
