Ask any self-respecting exotic sports car enthusiast for their top favorite rides, and most surely the names “Ferrari” and “Nissan GTR” will appear somewhere on that list, if not all over it. In understanding the raw sex appeal these wicked exotics exude, Rennen International included two decked-out, dressed-to-the-nines variants of them at the 2016 New York International Auto Show, each boasting some seriously drool-inducing Rennen Forged wheels.



A custom Ferrari 458, with quite the illustrious and fascinating past, sat in the Prior Design booth like a veritable sparkling gem wearing Rennen Forged RL55s and a crowd-stopping graphics job that made the supercar look like a New York City taxi – proving to be quite the hit at the expo’s Dub Show. While this most recent theme proved to be the boldest, this Ferrari’s story began with the owner dropping an aggressive Prior Design aero kit on the vehicle and continued with ever-changing color schemes, starting with a satin pearl white with candy apple red wheels variant which debuted at SEMA 2015. From there, the sexy Italian supercar wore a Batman theme, which lead to the wrap being removed to expose the original black paint, which was given yellow accents…all leading up to the current NYC taxi incarnation.



To be honest, we here at Rennen cannot wait to see what the owner does next with this outrageous 458…and we will keep everyone posted on it.

The Prior Design booth was also lit ablaze with excitement courtesy of our Nissan GTR, which sported some wider hips thanks to a PD750 widebody aero kit and Rennen Forged MV55 wheels with brushed gold faces and high-polished lips. Repainted a ravishing, pulse-quickening red with gold flakes by Long Island, New York’s ownX39Lab, the awesome GTR’s Rennen rims complemented the Japanese exotic right down to the accents, which were painted black to add contrast to the red.










Making waves and taking names has always been the way we like to rock big events such as the N.Y. Auto Show…and this year’s event was no different for the ingenious minds at Rennen International.
