What tire options are available in that size? Matte black sounds sexy as hell...

Not sure on tire sizing just yet. 996 fitments placed f/r at about 25.5" overall diameter. The new setup places the rears about an inch taller. 245/30 20 front and 285/30 or 295/25 in the rear if clearance will allow would be a good place to start.

Here are the ones I have on my toy Miata, they call this Matte Tuner Grey, but wont't be making these sizes in this color. But they give you an idea of what the color will be close to.

I love these wheels.

I had Superleggeras on my first S2000 in that same color (as your Miata). Great wheels - I figured a set of 20s might be fun to have on hand, esp. for around $2K/set. My BBS were more than double that for 19s...

Damon - when you have some pricing info (w/tires) on those black ones, please let me know.

Also, what is your suggestion for wheels on an FX45? I like the BBS look, but I don't know if there is a 20" fitment.

Thanks!

Blacks are priced the same as silver, page 1.

That's the same question that crossed my mind... And even though the 20"s look awesome on that 997S... I would still definitely go with 19"s.

Damon,

I am also shopping for track wheels for my 997S, but from what I learned from different forums, most owners go with 19", or even 18". What is the logic of going with 20"? Please educate us. Thanks.

18 or 19 is a better wheel size for true racing. 20" is taller and tire selection becomes more difficult.

Really it comes down to weight and tire selection. These are as light as most 18's so that isn't the issue. If you can find good tires to fit there's no reason not to use these as race wheels.

Damon,

You indicated that these are racing wheels, are these okay for just everyday use/driving? Sorry, I'm not good with wheels specifications/info.

Thanks.
