I would like to know if the following tires would fit on my 2001 996 C2 narrow body. The fronts are 235/35/19 and the rears are 315/25/19. Are the tires too wide? Would the sizees correct? Looking forward to your responses.

Its not wether the tires fit the car, your concern should be if the tires fit the wheels.

What wheels are you using?

What are the widths and offsets?

The width of the wheels will determine what size tires will fit. The offset of the wheel will determine if it will fit on the car.

wow, i didn't know the narrow body could fit a 315 rear...

 

It might not..............its all going to depend on the widths and offsets of the rear wheels. The possibility of having to roll the fenders still exist! 295's and 305's with 11" wheels fit without a problem, 315's have only a 1/2" wider sectional width than the 305's. Thats only 1/4" per side.
