Whats the best overall size wheel/tire combo for actual performance?

Track, Road, High Speed Driving, whats the best size wheel and tire combo. The tuners are all using 20's but Im guessing this is more for the bling than the performance, what do you guys think?

Its all a matter of what type of performance. The lightest setup is going to be your best bet for anything, but drag setups are going to be different than autocross, and thats going to be different than a road course. Its just like suspension settings, different applications for different circumstances. It also varies from car to car.
