Tell the world a little bit about your vehicle
I picked up this 1966 Chevy II SS back in '88 on a Saturday. I was working until noon and while waiting to close up shop I came across it in the AutoTrader. The guy wanted $1000 so I borrowed the cash from the cash drawer at work and went to see the car. It was 100% stock when I bought it with a 283ci motor and a Powerglide trans. I drove it just as it was for about 3 years before I started to mess with it. I have kept all the original parts in storage.

Engine/Drivetrain Modifications:
415ci small block Chevy with AFR heads, Crower billet crank and rods, JE pistons, Crower roller cam, etc, etc... Heads and motor built by legendary Chevy engine builder Joe Sherman. The motor dyno'd 687hp.

Trans - 700r4 (also known as a 4L80) with a TCS 4000 'lock-up' stall convertor

Rear End - Ford 9inch with Moser axles and 4:56 gear ratio.

Suspension Modifications:
Complete Global west front end bearing set with custom strut rods made by Performance Online's Jim Chaddick. Rear suspension has leafs moved inward to clear 10inch wide M&H slicks with Cal-Trak Slide-a-Link bars. Frame rails 'tied'.

Wheels/Tires Modifications:
Traditional Chevy Rally Wheels. 3.5 fronts and 10 rears. M&H 10inch Drag Slicks out back.

Interior/Exterior Modifications:
Interior & Exterior are left basically stock for a stealth attack. Interior has appropriate gauges to monitor vitals, but the balance is stock including the bucket seats, console and stock shifter.

Exterior color is factory K code Artesian Turquoise Metallic. Interior is Black
