Tell the world a little bit about your vehicle
Factory 914-6, VIN puts it pretty late in the 1970 model year. Used to live in SoCal in the 80s and 90s, but no records further back than the late 80s.
Engine/Drivetrain Modifications:
P.O. swapped in a 3.0 liter 911SC motor w/ Weber carbs on a PMO intake.
Suspension Modifications:
Brembo Gran Tourismo front brakes. Original front calipers moved to rear; original rears kept by mechanic (and probably sold far more than any discount on the Brembo kit). So no emergency brake at this time.
Wheels/Tires Modifications:
Running 7&6 x 16 Fuchs from an '86 911 Carrera. With 205mm tires there is a little rubbing in front with full lock on the wheel.
Interior/Exterior Modifications:
Somewhere along the line somebody added a Blaupunkt equalizer and very early cassette player to the factory radio. Never seen this combo before.
Future Modifications:
Unsure what to do about the transaxle - the original "tail shifter" is awful, though bushings and linkage tweaks may help. Would like to add some subtle flares to the rear wheel wells.
