Got a new Turbo

I had been checking around for the pull forward and was going to wait for the MY16 to come along and build a Agate C4S with sport design kit. After a few calls and a little negotiation the price of a leftover 14 Turbo became pretty close to what I would have spent on a built C4S.

Here are the options. It still annoys me there is no keyless entrance, but it was not a deal killer. I will post more pictures once the car gets delivered to Dallas from out of state.

0Q - White
342 - Seat heating (front)
529 - SportDesign Wing Mirrors
541 - Seat Ventilation (Front)
559 - Window trim in high gloss Aluminum
581 - Luggage net in passenger footwell
583 - Smoking package
638 - ParkAssist (Front and Rear) incl. Reversing Camera
640 - Sport Chrono Package
653 - Sunroof in glass
658 - Power Steering Plus
AZ - Black leather interior
P07 - Adaptive Sport Seats Plus (18-way) with Memory Package
XEX - Bi-Xenon™ headlights in Black incl. Porsche Dynamic Light System (PDLS)
XXG - Clear Glass Taillights
XYB - Fuel Cap with Aluminium Look Finish
ZAB - Ornamental Porsche Crest

I have keyless entry and while it's okay, I'm not as into it as some others are, so that would not bother me. In fact, it's not something I would pay extra for again. Nice build you have there...hard to go wrong with white on black. Enjoy!

Thanks Guys. Well I did the paperwork yesterday and wired the money this am. I am hoping they release the car to transport tomorrow now that they have the money so I can have the car by this week end. That may be overly optimistic. My guess would be early next week.

Vic- Rusnak seemed fine to deal with, I literally shook the sales managers hand, took it for a test drive and was in and out in less than 2 hours. I will never see them again. I was happy with the deal for the 14 leftover. I had an excellent experience over the past year and a half with Park Place in Dallas and will continue to use them for service.

Nice build! Car will be gorgeous. I'm using the pull-ahead program as well and getting into a 2015 Agate TT (hope it'll be here in a few weeks). Can't wait to see more pics of your beast. Congrats!

I have a 2013 CS2 with manual gearbox. Test drove a Turbo over the weekend.... WOW. The only performance option was PCCB.... WOW, WOW and WOW. I want one. My lease expires next year so I have to wait for 2016....

Congrats... It is good to be the King.

That was my mistake as well . . . test driving the TT when I had my 2013 C2S (7MT) in for a service a few months ago. I was literally left speechless. It's such an amazing car.

Funny thing, I think Park Place showed that car on their site a couple of days ago for 159k, looked like a good deal to me. Did you look at the Silver TTS they have? Is there something wrong with it?

Park Place did not have this car. I have not seen them stock a regular turbo actually. This car came from Rusnak Porsche in California. The sticker was 162 on this one. Nothing wrong with the rhodium silver car at Park Place. It is a TTS and the car has the built in radar, only 2500 miles or so. I believe they are asking 172.

They have cut the price to $165,900 now and it's probably a really good deal. I think I saw the white turbo at Porsche North Houston. Anyway, they had a red Turbo S at Park Place which only lasted one day or at least one day after I first saw it. The silver one has been there a while. I am waiting to pounce on something end of year but I am not sure how long I should wait. The one I am most interested in is the one I wanted to buy when I bought my wife the Cayenne Turbo S instead. That one is at Plano Porsche and it's white with Grey/Platinum interior with a sticker of 198k. I test drove it and really liked it but I would like to get it for $175k but I haven't made any offer. It's sitting there after three weeks still and so I guess they are waiting for someone to come along and take it near full price.

WRS-I would continue to call around. I reached out to a half a dozen dealers some of which who did not want to negotiate that much on their 14's. Rusnak finally gave me a little over 10% off MSRP.

I saw the red TTS at Park Place, it went as fast as it came. I saw it being delivered. The 14 preowned TTS they have I am sure they are willing to deal, it has been there a few week if not a month or more. I bought my last 911 from Jim Lannom there and he is fantastic to deal with. Neil Brown is good too. They just got this 15 Mexico blue TTS and it is stunning in person. It is a bit too much for me, but love seeing it on the road.

If you are tracking one at Porsche of Plano reach out to Jon below. He left Park Place and is building his business over in Plano, may be more aggressive on making a deal.
