The road racing/driver's education event for TX2K11 will be held at Grandsport Speedway. This is the same venue we had the TX2K10 event at. I tried for MSR Houston and TWS but they were simply booked. There is a chance that Grandsport will be over 2 miles by the time TX2K11 comes around but we won't know for sure for another month or so. Having said that, if in fact they do expand the course, the price/car will go up $50 at the time the expansion is known. If you pay now, even if they expand, you will NOT get charged the extra $50.
As of right now, we will be running the 1.4 mile long Mako Circuit:

Grandsport Speedway is approximately 1 hour from the host hotel (60 miles):
From the host hotel take I-10 East towards Houston. Stay on I-10 east for approximately 4 miles and exit Beltway 8 and travel South (go right). Stay on Beltway 8 for approximately 30 miles until you get to I-45. Please note that Beltway 8 is a pay toll. Exit I-45 and travel South. You will stay on I-45 for approximately 18 miles. Stay on I-45 towards Galveston. Exit on Exit 15, continue straight through the light staying right onto FM 2004 that runs parallel to the dog track. Continue down FM 2004 for about 5 miles right through Hitch**** until you see four large concrete pillars on your left. The track is behind these pillars. About one half of a mile past Blimp Base Rd turn left through the gate beside the GrandSport Speedway sign. You are now on the new site of GrandSport Speedway.
