Bosch DV's -- 710N vs. 710P -- Difference?

I know I posted this same question earlier but nobody has responded yet so I thought I'd change the title.

I am replacing the DV's in my 03 TT.

Anyone know the difference between the Bosch 710N and the 710P?
2 different dealers told me the P was a newer version and they don't stock the N any more. If someone ordered a N they would supply them with a P.
I have been scouring the net for 2 days and all I get is conflicting info like...
P is the upgraded N
P is better built than N
N is better
N is the way to go
etc...

Anybody have experience using the P or will I be the first

I know the 710N use to be the biz, maybe it's just the newest revision.

Ask Divexxtreme I think the latest DV of choice is an Audi sourced unit that is very affordable (i think in the $80 range) and reliable. Even in high boost applications.

I have been running billet DVs since one of my stock plastic DVs quite literally exploded into two pieces. That was at only 1.1 BAR on stock turbos.

Mr swed is on a distinguished road
710P should be the updated 710 dv. The updates on Bosch DV follow alphabetic order N..O.P..etc

So the 710P's are installed and seem to be working just fine. My car is flashed with exhaust and I'm seeing 1 bar in 2nd and 3rd gear pulls.
Anything else I should be looking for?

The 710Ns are now made by Kayser opposed to the bosch ones that were 710Ns so be cautious. Leak test them before you install them.

The 710Ps are from the Audi RS6

I 'think' this car has reletively low boost pressure, and so 'may' not havre a particularly strong spring

I'm not saying the spring is the 'P' is weaker than the'N'
Just that it might be weaker than aftermarket options

I'm curious about this as well. Is there any reason to replace my stock DVs with new Bosch units if they haven't failed, or is it a good preventative measure when going with a tune and exhaust?

710Ns hold boost better and last longer than 710Ps, take this as friendly advice from someone who has probably sold/installed over 2 tousand pairs of 710Ns in the last 5 years
