New 2 piece splitter for the 996TT
I'll start with that I'm not affiliated in any way, but I am looking at ordering this lip. Found it on RL, the guys makes them on his own and has done similar for the new Cayman and GT3.
The lip/splitter is 2 pieces, you have the choice of how you want to run it. 3" w/o the splitter attached and 4" w/
John makes these out of his garage, tei@telus.net 604-329-9391

Splitter
I bought one of these from Joe earlier this year for my 2003 996TT. He was very good to work with and my splitter arrived on time and in good shape. I have been too busy at work to mount it yet, but I did unwrap it and the quality is good.
So that's a preliminary thumbs up. I would definitely order it again after having inspected the piece in person. I will report out on how much of a difference I think it makes at the track as my TT sees mostly track miles these days.
Very good value for a custom piece

Almost makes me want to forget about getting a GT2 bumper. Do you make the gurney flap as well?

Hi Guys. My name is Joe, new to this forum. I'm the one who makes this splitter. I work as a mold maker in the fiberglass industry and in my spare time after work I like to play with new stuff. I have a small shop I work out of affectionately called the "slum". If any of you know Surrey I'm in Whalley so you understand. I have been building P car parts for about six years starting with a 951 piece I designed for my own car and now have several models. 944NA, 996 GT3, 2014 Cayman. My next project is 996 GT2 if I can find a donor car for the design work. I can be contacted at 604-329-9391 or email tei@telus.net
This part is designed to make trailer loading easy. the blade portion of the splitter attaches with 7 Dzus fasteners and is off and on in seconds. These are not off the shelf pieces. I make these to provide desired ground clearance for either track or street use or both based on the ride height of the car. I also do the canards n the bottom two pictures of the first post.
Thanks and have a great day everyone.

Love this splitter well done! Do you have any of the canards ready?

Nice work Joe! I love seeing items produced by individuals in cottage industries. I think this was much more popular in the '70s and '80s?
Good luck with your products, If I had a need, I'd buy from you first!
