997.2 Turbo S Liberty Walk Build Thread
Pretty self explanatory title everyone. I wanted to document the progress of my liberty walk build on my 2011 turbo s. I know the kit and build is not going to be for everyone, and i might not be the best at documenting, but at least it will keep some of you busy for a small part of your day haha.
Little history about the car first, bought it about a month ago with less than 30k miles, bone stock turbo s pdk. Love the car, fell in love with liberty walk so i decided to build one. All the work is being done by long tran at LTMW, and he is doing a phenomenal job.
Her in stock form, so beautiful
Custom Roll Cage done by Jason Noren (close buddy)
Roll Cage Painted Speed Yellow
Test Fitting Stages of the Kit
Full Grigio Telesto Color Change complete
IPE Full Valvatronic Catless Exhaust with headers installed
RotiForm Centerlock WHeels also in
CSF radiator installed, interfooler here we come!
Half of the kit installed and its already starting to look gorgeous, really love the grigio telesto paint matched with speed yellow. What do you guys think?
Tires are not in yet and suspension is almost dialed in, waiting on partial clear bra before we put it all back together again, looking pretty sexy in my opinion, what do you guys think?
The following parts are not pictured yet because i did not have the time, but i do have full bilstein damtronic coilover system installed, along with CSF radiators. Looking forward to updating you guys soon, it is expected to be complete by the end of this week. Any hate or love all welcome, this is not my first time building a car, and porsche is by far the best manufactured car i have had the pleasure of owning.

I'm in as well - Sounds like a fun project.
I'm not a huge LW fan honestly - i have seen some cars that i really liked and others not so much. Seems nowadays there are far too many just thrown together and they don't look right.
What are your plans for the car - shows mostly, or will it be tracked and driven?
Regardless, props on the project and having the ***** to cut up a turbo S

Only in Cali - you guys have a large pool of car building talent there.
I can't wait to see the finished product.
Regarding your mods - has anyone proven an advantage running headers on the 997.2?
What's the benefit considering the fueling/engine limitations?

As far as I know, the oem 997.2 manifolds are bottlenecked and aftermarket headers help it breath better for more power as well as faster spooling time. Hopefully all this is true
