New Product, Valentine One Mounting Bracket (G Bracket) for Porsche 997 by G Rides

G Rides has finished development, testing and manufacturing of these Valentine One Mounting Brackets for the Porsche 997 with Auto Dimming Mirror (Should fit Cayman with Power Dimming Mirror too). They will be called "G Brackets" and locate the Valentine One below the rear view mirror. They are made in California, USA from Aluminum, Anodized Black and include Mounting Hardware. This G Bracket combined with Hardwiring of your Valentine One makes for a clean and functional installation of your Valentine One. We're finishing details such as putting them on an on-line store, but they are in-stock ready to ship now.

G Bracket is $49.95 + $7.95 shipping and handling. G Brackets shipped to California pay 8.25% Sales Tax.

You don't have to drill into the mirror post, there are pockets for the set screws of the G Bracket already. You just have to remove the 2-piece plastic housing and drill holes in that as seen in these pictures. I installed another one of these today and took a few pictures to better explain the installation, which I'll be posting up once I process them.

I colored the set screws yellow so you may see how they go through the plastic housing.

Should know if this fits manual dimming mirror by next weekend. V1's are not illegal in CA, however I spoke with CHP and if they wanted, they could write you a fix it ticket for having something below your rear view mirror.

We confirmed that the 997 G Bracket does not fit 996 Auto Dimming Mirror. We are working on a version to fit 996 Auto Dimming Mirror.
