Protomotive 700 01 996TT

Make: Porsche
Model: 911
Price: $42000
Mileage: 65000
Color: silver
Private or Dealer Listing: Private Listing
Location (State): CA
Transmission: Manual
Drivetrain: Rear Wheel Drive
The car has been solid. I bought it with 45k miles and drove it from TX to Ca.
Daily drove it during the week. now has 63k on it.
The flaws are... the rear wing needs new seals, and there is some leather that has lifted on the dash. There is also a small dent on the rear quarter.
Oil has been changed every 3k miles by me... and has new front brakes as of a few months ago.
Mods are...
K24/20G Turbos modified by Blouch Turbo
Protomotive Intake, Plenum, and Hard Piping
MAFless
Protomotive Intercoolers
Second intank Fuel Pump
60 lb Injectors
Fabspeed MaxFlo Exhaust (gutted cats)
Ported and Coated Factory Headers
HKS EVC Boost Controller
Brockway 1000 onboard computer
H&R sport springs ...... GT2 Ride height and a pretty comfortable ride with better handling than the stock setup.
Painted Center Console
Carbonetics triple carbon clutch
19 in HRE
At 1.44bar in October of 2009 the car went 200.9 mph at the Texas Mile. At that power level it ran a 5.91 60-130 has run a 5.73 at 1.55. It is current tuned to run 1.6 bar on MS109 and is making noticeably more power than its configuration at the mile in October of 2009.
There is a clear bra around the nose.....
The car is RWD at the moment. I have the axles, diff, hardware. Only thing i don't have is the hubs if you want it back to all wheel.
Extremely sorted car. Very fast even with 91 octane.

Car is located in San Diego area
asking price is $47,000 obo.

The reason I bought it was to play with it pretty frequently. I've been so busy lately that I barely get to use the power. Only put the race gas in it once the entire time I've owned it. Lol.
The camaro has been the play toy.
So instead of putting all these SD to LA miles on it I figured I'd get a boring car for the commutes.
Plus my new baby is already 2.5.
the Porsche is her favorite and will be devastated if I do sell it.... So no real rush.

I hope you get more then your asking price its a nice car. People tend to want low mileage and stock condition for better or worse. I would think a few people would make offers and make the price you can expect more clear. My car is stock 2001 with 13100 miles and would like to get 48-50 if I decide to sell.

Excluding the manual trans, I think this example sets where the market is:

I'm on a search to purchase a 996TT right now, so I have been looking around for about a week.

I'm no expert but don't believe that particular car would be the best example for pricing purposes unless your looking for the lowest price only. You are not going to get a good 996tt for that price on average.

Perhaps not on average, but as an outside observer trying to get a handle on the market, sales like this certainly get my attention.
