My concern about getting into a 996 Turbo is the older interior. This interior color and the seats are perfect and is making me consider getting into a 996 Turbo again.
How is the seat comfort for longer drives? I don't care too much for comfort but my gf is concerned for the longer drives. I showed her this car.

If you don't like the seats, you would absolutely no problem selling them for $3500/pair. I actually have 3 standing offers for them.

Glad you like the interior. I won't lie, these are race seats and are "tolerable" for longer drives at best. Since the center and lower cushions are removable (velcro), I considered having black Alcantera "comfort" seat cushions made for daily / long drive use and save the OG leather inserts for show and track use.

The seats are very subjective as far as comfort, my wife and I took them on long trips from NJ to FL and etc no issues. I actually prefer them vs stock seats but it's all subjective and depends on "your" comfort level. You can always have some bottom pads made with more cushioning for your wife and her precious bum
Gorgeous , this would be long gone if it was manual.

Upgrade your 996TT for cheap!! Here's How!!
Here's a scenario that enables you to upgrade your 996TT for cheap and even make some money...
buy my 2001 996TT for $36500, swap out the Milltek exhaust, CPU w/ 1.0 bar tune and X73 suspension (saving over $5000), sell the Factory GT3RS seats, Tequipment Roll cage and Scroth 6 Point harnesses( for around $5000), install some standard Boxster Red seats for around $700-800 and re-sell the car for $36500, which nets you a savings / profit of around $10000, minus labor.
I even know a reliable and inexpensive shipper if you're interested.
