FS: 2004 996TT X50 Basalt blk/natural leather - SOLD
Year: 2004
Make: Porsche
Model: 911
Price: $1
Mileage: 56000
Color: Basalt Black
Private or Dealer Listing: Private Listing
Location (State): Can-QC

I'm selling my 2004 996 Turbo (manual 6 speed) as I am getting a new car. Loaded with X50 package, Navi, etc.
I'm the 3rd owner and have had the car since 35K miles, now at 56K miles. Car was originally from Texas and was sold to Quebec after being involved in a minor accident which shows on the carfax. Only the rear bumper was replaced, I have pictures of the car prior to being repaired. However for some reason it was sold as a salvage vehicule when it crossed the border even though it had no structural damage or other important damage.
Upgrades:
Wheels: 997 Turbo wheels with Michelin's with about 50% tread left.
Tune: EPL tune stage 1
Brakes: Brembo big brake kit
Suspension: Was on H&R coilovers, now on brand new K-Sport coilovers, which I find a little soft. H&R's can be sold as an extra as well.
Exhaust: Stock exhaust on, but Agency Power titanium exhaust available as an extra (new from this summer)
Notable repairs since I've owned the car:
Water pump, MAF, clutch, brakes (pads and discs), ignition.
Mechanically the car is in great condition, just got it inspected at the garage. Only thing was the air filter to replace, which I did.
Cosmetic Issues:
1. Front bumper lip is cracked
2. Rear spoiler not lifting anymore
3. Paint is in 9.5/10 condition. Front bumper and hood were repainted by the Porsche Dealership this spring.
The interior is in very good shape. The driver seat leather is still in great shape and shows almost no wear.
I have all of the maintenance records from myself.

I believe that Canada has a different criteria for salvage. There's a good chance this would be cleared when crossing back over to the US. Great deal for an awesome looking car!

No man, Salvage is a salvage . No difference if the car is in Canada or the U.S

I believe it has a rebuilt title (issued after repair to replace the salvage title). OP was quick to respond with plenty of detailed info, carfax and pics. Clearly could be an awesome deal and I only had to pass based on timeframe.
One things for sure if a dealer gets it it's only likely to be sold for more.
GLWS!

a gentleman in toronto bought my roller which had a salvage title. when he checked to see what would be needed the authorities told him no problem it would be titled in canada with no salvage. to my knowledge he didn't have any issues when bringing it in
