I saw one in top gear in New Jersey. Asking 92 k wort 8k miles. Sticker was 166,000. Anyone know about this car or the dealership ?

09 coupes are the rarest .1s and last year M97, I think about 500 made. Last year, slightly facelifted interior and updated PCM which is nice.

 

I paid about the same two years ago 7500 miles 09 cab silver/red interior. Prodigy is right about the 09 manual coupes LSD which go for more $$ than listed above.

 

Exactly ... According to my research there were 321 coupes in 09

 

I know tg, Sean the owner is a nice guy. I almost bought a few cars from him.
They are legit, but priced on the high end.

 

My experience with TG is the exact opposite. I tried to buy 2 cars from them. Both were the same odd story. I inquired into the cars. Price agreed. Then 1 was under contract the other was sort of sold. But both remained for sale on ebay for months after. Not sure what the deal is over there but if you are local and can see them in person maybe your experience would be better.

 

When I called top gear ( which was my first time ever last week ) I spoke to Sean ... I ask him for a short history on the car and he tells me he has two interested buyers that are making offers ... I didn't ask him that nor do I care about that . So right there I knew the guy was full of crap . I have been around the block more then a few times and that line just pushed me away . I was very I interested in the car but after that I went cold . He did layer on proceed to tell me a little about the two owners but he knew nothing about the carfax and I could tell he was being arrogant . Oh well , I will never call them again . I have various businesses and I don't treat anymore insignificantly

 

Experiences like this one are the reasons I rather buy a car from an enthusiast then dealerships. Though new cars we don't have an option, but for our weekend toys, there are plenty of good honest enthusiasts out there.

 

I know someone who has one with 400 miles. he wants around $90k for it.
