Will i notice big difference between CS and CTT?
Hi all,
Itīs been a while since i was here.
I sold the 05 Cayenne S and bought a 07 Yukon XL. Different kind of truck of course. But i really enjoy the size and ride in the Yukon.
Anyway, now after 6-7 months with the Yukon i miss the Cayenne.
I was offered to trade car with a guy. He getīs the Yukon and i get his 05 Cayenne Turbo.
Ok so my question is, will i notice a big difference in power and speed compare to my old Cayenne S?
Is there anything particular i should check on that 05 CTT? Problems that are common? It has around 60000 miles.
thanks
Peter, Stockholm

Much more difference on the older ones!
The new ones - 2011 - there is difference but less than before.

Disagree. I've driven a new CS and new turbo and there is still a huge difference.

It is the difference between a moped and a true motorcycle... I love my CTT waited a long time to get mine...... LOVE it and know offence to CS owners... just love the Turbo rush!

Thanks all for your replies.
Sounds great. I was not all that satiesfied with the power of my CS.
Havenīt yet tested this Turbo. We are in different parts of the country (Sweden is small, but still). But hopefully next week.
A problem have occured
I have also been offered to trade my truck for a 07 Range Rover TDV8.
So now i have to deal with that as well...

Yes.
Keep in mind that "peak" numbers can't be taken as the be all end all for power. The delivery of the power is what is the main difference b/t the S and CT.
As Jace said the torque in the CT is massive and really helps push the truck. While the difference might "only" been 100 hp, the CT averages much more HP across the whole power curve so looking at peak numbers only tells a VERY small part of the story.
