Bluetooth + Iphone on 2004 Cayenne Turbo

Hi,

I have made a few search but did not find the asnwer to my question. I have a 2004 cayenne turbo, with the CD navigation, not the DVD. Now, is that what you are calling a PCM 3.0 ?

Anyhow, I would like to get recommendations on what 6speeders prefer to use the most. I have an Iphone, and would like to make/receive phone calls and listen to music (from my iphone) on my cayenne screen/sound system.

I don't want to use FM relaying system since the last one I had was terrible. I am ready to spend less than $1000 ... (but cheapandgood is always prefered )

Thanks

Get the mObridge unit for the Porsche. I got mine from Incartronics.

www.incartronics.com

It connects to the iPhone flawlessly. You can also set up the bluetooth on the unit to A2DP and play your music through your iPhone. I run Pandora on the iPhone and play it through the radio. Great unit. A little pricey. $850 but well worth it.

Saw their website, why do they label the product ITRONICS ? Is there a difference ?

Its the same unit. Same software upgrade files and everything. Highly recommended.

A side note. Some of the controls are a little quirky. This is because the mObridge unit is using the Porcsche CD disk controls. Once you figure out the control, you will have no problems.

Yes. Go to disk 6. Scroll down to Audio src: Press and hold for 2 seconds the > button to the right of the 0 on the keypad. It will cycle through the source options. The three options are: AUX, A2DP, and Ipod.

Your iphone will already be set on bluetooth. You will be able to play the ipod or Pandora through the iphone.
