New to forum
Hi guys,
I've been lurking this site for quite sometime now.... decided to become a member.
A little background: I've come from the import crowd (s2000/350z) and love to track. My dream as a kid was to always own a Lamborghini
I've had the good fortune of doing well at my job and in the spring of 2011 I'll be most likely picking up an 08 Superleggera then. I never thought at the age of 27 this would happen but it seems like all the hard work has paid off!
Anyways, I've done a lot of research on here and a few other enthusiast forums for Lamborghini's; Here's a few questions I have for future ownership:
Thanks in advance! Glad to be part of the community.
-Steve

- Will the Superleggera be in the $140-150k range in spring 2011?
- What in depth criteria should I be looking for maintenence wise e-gear vs. 6 speed (rare I know)
- Reputable dealers in Ontario Canada (other than Lamborghini Toronto/BC) that someone has experience with
- Cost of ownership--Will be doing 6-8 track days a year plus weekend driving (yes even in the rain and possibly cold)
Thanks in advance! Glad to be part of the community.

Wow... tough crowd here
I've been eyeing stock Gallardo's as well (price point seems to be much much lower).
I know many people here go through Roy.... but does anyone else have any good avenues (US/Canada) that I should check out?
I went onto the RIV govnt site for import fees, etc to Canada.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
-Steve

I dont think it is a "hard" crowd..
I think it is the car you have in question..
The SL car is far and few in-between currently...and with the supply low and the demand higher then the supply for this variant of the car..$140K is not going to get you one...well at least not one in decent shape.
You need to prepare for closer to $150-$155K USA fees.

Hmmm I see your point Roy. I wouldn't mind having a regular G (I prefer the 6 speed manual over egear).
This spring is the target for a purchase.... would you be available to chat on this sometime? I can PM you what i'm looking for colour wise/options, etc.
I'm aware of the changes from 05 to 06.... just wondering if the extra $$ is worth the jump.
Regards,

I definitely will Torn, thanks.
It's funny... I started poking around at exotic car dealerships recently and an old friend actually offered me his toy (he's upgrading to a house on the lake).
996 Turbo S 6speed (2005), 15km every option imagineable..... the car is crazy fast (tuning done by EU Autowerks) 650hp.
Problem is I've always been a Lambo nut ever since I was a little kid...had all the auto art models
For me it's not just about power...but the experience! I think Lambo has that nailed down with its boisterous personality.
