Hi folks

I've lurked 6Speed for a long time, and these last couple months the topics have been getting really interesting and I've wanted to post, but I didn't want to put up anything substantial until I made an intro post. Hopefully it's ok to do this here. Since I am a Lambo owner it felt most appropriate.

I'm Smoky, and you may or may not know me from other forums. 6Speed is a pretty nice place and a well thought out forum structure and I'm enjoying it a great deal. The folks here seem really knowledgeable and fun. I don't know why I lurked so long. I tend to stick with the "specialist" forums (eg. my350z when I had a 350Z, LS1.com when I had my Firebirds, etc). I'm enjoying the "multi-car" format that has evolved. The variety is fun!

Anyway, I'm glad to be here and to get to know you folks (and to meet up with old friends from other forums too!). Here are the obligatory pics of my current ride, an '03 Murci in Arancio Atlas that I picked up late Summer last year from a familiar face, Roy Cats.

Awesome car....very very nice. How has she been maint wise?
I am going to be in the market very soon and and 03 would def be in my price point but I really was not considering an Murci and was more F430 or G. But yours just really caught my eye.

 

Thx! So far, maintenance free (knock on wood). Will be doing my first oil change soon once the materials arrive. These cars are more solid than their reputation suggests.

 

Great color and the correct gear box, congrats and enjoy it. Love smoked tails on these cars also.

My G is Arancio Borealis. I wonder how much difference between Arancio Borealis and Atlas?

I haven't see the two next to each other, but I think the Borealis is more "matte"-like than the Atlas (though that seems counter intuitive). I'm sure a color expert can chime in for the details. I love the look of the Borealis paint though. Seems different than Atlas in the pics I've seen..but who knows..could just be a Gallardo color vs a Murci color.
