I`d take the rapide over the panamera without hesitating a millisecond

of course only,if money was no object

it`s just unbelievably beautiful,elegant and all parts of the car fit together in a flow,other than the panamera which has certain sections that stick out and interrupts the flow when your eyes are going from the front to the rear...

Panamera = Epic fail
I wouldn't be caught dead behind the wheel of one, even if it was given to me.

I can't wait to see a panamera. I hate it in all the photos but still hope it looks a little better in person.

This two Panamera (slightly camouflaged) arrived in Dubai a week ago - testing is still going on ?? Any way , the car in front looks really sharp and somewhat different than the 2nd. one . Is it for slightly different angle - or something else ?? To me , the pic. of front Panamera is the best rear 3/4 and overall "3D" impression , so far .

U are right..mmmm ?

It's looks like there is a long-wheel base Panamera which loses the proportions 2nd, the one that we have seen all the time....and short-wheel base very sharp and sporty 1st one.

or may be they are doing a smaller version right a way to offer soon, like in the Cayenne....

Panamera --> MB CLS-class, A8, BMW 7_series

xxx -> 5_Series, A6, MB E-Class

i am sure i am not the only one to think this BUT, it may be "so so" in the pictures but i am willing to bet when we see it in person it will rock. porsche has worked too long on this project for it to be a "let down". just my thought.

Mine thoughts too !! ( 3 more pics. for analyzing / comparing ) To me , it looks as the front Pam. has 5th door and glass (in particular) more flat / sharp

I hate to say it, but based on those pictures/illustrations, I would pick the Rapide as the far better looking of the two. Dynamically - who knows? I would have to drive them to make a judgement, and I am guessing that the Rapide will be 2-3 times the cost of the Panamera.

Rapide and Estoque concept are both beauties. The Panemera...not so much, IMHO.
