The Performance Box is a stripped down version of the Driftbox yet retains all acceleration and laptiming functionality and only lacks the drift mode. Craig at VBOX USA has offered a 10% discount on an order over 10 units. 10% discount and free shipping on 15 units. 15% and free shipping on 49+ units. The Performance box is 499$ and the Driftbox is 750$. All monies will go directly thru VBOX USA. All orders must be placed at the same time for the discount to apply. Tentatively speaking it will work like this: If you are interested let me know what you want and how many. I will keep a running tab on this thread of the total number of orders placed and if they are confirmed with Craig. I will email info so the buyer can make arrangements with VBOX for the purchase and provide credit card data. No credit cards will be run until the order period is over. I still need to talk to Craig about how long to keep this up, but 10 days to 2 weeks sounds right, but I will firm that up tomorrow. Once the time limit is up, you will be charged based on the order tally at that time. All shipping will be UPS ground and all credit card receipts will be sent with the unit. What the story with the external antenna? Does it cost extra? work better?

 

The antenna is 60$ I think? The unit does not need it. I have one ,but have not used it yet. If you live in the city with tall buildings(great place for 60-130 runs ) or running down tree lined roads it may help, but in most cases you will be OK. I may start using my antenna at PCA events since the unit can be in the door pocket and the antenna on the roof and it will be out of site since they frown upon timing equipment. You can go back and download the data and check it later. Kevin
