The Porsche 991 Turbo S may very well be the best everyday Supercar ever built. At just 3550 pounds the 560 HP the Porsche produces from the factory is nothing short of amazing. Our engineering team has been working on this platform effortlessly to increase the vehicles power output while staying well within factory specifications. Many of our clients and dealers have compared it to what one would consider GT2 type power output. The Porsche 6 cylinder horizontally opposed 3.8L engine with Continental ECU has been remapped by our engineering team to increase peak power levels by over 140 lb ft. of torque and over 100 HP. The tuning solution for this platform like many of our other solutions involved a complete remapping of the DME which includes a read, edit, and write process allowing for a custom tune for your Porsche. Our Personal Tuner device will allow end user programming in the comfort of your own home or garage along with the option to revert back to stock (Velos Personal Tuner will store multiple maps including your stock map). The remapping also includes changes to your Rev limiter with an increase of 300 rpm bringing you right into your sweet spot with each shift from the PDK transmission. With factory boost at roughly 17 psi our increase is roughly 2-2.5 psi with other adjustments to limiters, throttle, fuel, and ignition that produce consistent gains while delivering a smoother and linear power curve. Tuning options for gasoline with an average octane rating of 91, 93 and 100 which result in a smoother air fuel ratio (as shown in the graph below) to create a clean burning combustion all well within factory specifications. With testing in different climates and with partners & dealers overseas this tuning solution is a must for the true enthusiasts looking to get the most out of their Porsche Turbo S. note: all testing shown done in sport mode
