engine replacement twice

Hey fellas - i have an 08 targa 4s, purchased CPO 2010. shortly after buying, discovered scored #6. car was with Porsche for 6 weeks, and they replaced w rebuilt from factory.I've put ~ 25,000 miles on that engine, and last few weeks noted white plume from exhaust. dealer calls me now and says its due to scored cyl#6 and they are calling extended warranty co (3rd party ) to get approvals for rebuild from Porsche.

wondering if anyone aware of the same car having this kind of luck....!
definitely disappointed if this truly in the case.

thanks for any comments/

Sooo....you are sure they used a rebuilt motor from Porsche. Could not be they rebuilt your old motor using same block/heads? If so the odds are pretty much against this. Very bad luck. Lucky you have warranty.
