Laser jammer recommendations

Since I am new to the site, this topic may have already been discussed. While I have a Valentine 1 detector, which, imho, is the top radar detector on the market, I have little knowledge of laser jammers and would like input as to what brands and models that would be recommended. Thank you.

Go to Radar Roy's website. The only two jammers he really considers worth looking at are the laser interceptor or the Blinder HP905. The blinder would jam to gun every detector to the gun. The interceptor jammed everything except a new gun not in wide use. The blinder has much smaller jammers making a stealth install easier and a parking assist mode.
On the radar detector side the new escort max is pretty amazing. The valentine is good but out of date and is prone to false readings.

What about the "Stinger"? I'm hearing a lot about them recently, especially on their US$2-3k price tag!!!. So I wonder how this compares to LI and AL?

The $2995.00 price is for just front RADAR protection which recently destroyed the competition (Escort's 9500ci/Sti-R+) at Radar Roy's testing session in April. As to the Laser HD components, it is now only one of two laser jammers capable of jamming the troublesome dragon lasers and it actually was able to jam a new version of the dragon compact at Roy's test down to about 500 feet whilst the competitor allowed readings from 1600 feet down. Their lasers are only the size of a dime and their new laser fibers are slightly bigger than the size of the head of a pin.

The stinger system looks pretty bad ***. Interested to see user reviews on it as well and if it lives up to all the tests.

It didn't do too well here on laser tests:

No, it means that the Stinger was able to Jam it from 2000 feet when it was first targeted all the way down to 500 feet when the laser gun finally got a reading jamming that laser longer then the other jammer did which allowed readings from 1600 feet so performance was worse than the Stinger.

The stinger rep is on Ferrarichat, I don think anyone over there has bitten yet though. I had the Blinder installed in one of my cars and I ended up disconnecting it since it would not stop making noise. I have no idea if it ever worked but I never got a ticket in that car.

For what it is worth everyone should be aware that C55 is the owner of Lazer Interceptor and can hardly be considered an unbiased source.
