6SpeedOnline Goes Nuts With the 2019 Aston Martin Vantage Configurator

Vantage

Whether you’re a shrinking violet or more of a showboat, there’s a specific Aston Martin Vantage just for you.

The 2019 Aston Martin Vantage is the latest and greatest from the iconic British manufacturer. With its recent involvement with the James Bond franchise and several other knockout models like V8 and V12-powered DB11, the future looks good overall. In fact, sources claim that up to 80 percent of the new Vantage production has already been sold, despite the model having only been released for a month or so.

Under the hood of the all-new Vantage sits a Mercedes-Benz-derived twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V8, which produces a robust 503 horsepower and 505 pound-feet of torque. Power is pushed to the wheels via an in-house tuned eight-speed automatic transmission. The price for all that goodness? A mere $150,000 bucks.

Like most other high-end vehicle manufacturers, Aston Martin has joined the whole online configuration movement. In years prior, one had to attend an official showroom in order to meticulously customize the beloved Aston of their dreams. Not anymore! As a result, we cracked open a cold one and sat in front of our monitor for an hour or two of straight-up daydreaming.

Pretending we had the funds to bring these bad boys home, these are the Vantage models we were able to put together. Enjoy!

Golden Saffron exterior with Copper Tan Metallic interior

New Aston Martin Vantage

This first combo is eye-catching, but not eye-watering. The Golden Saffron exterior (burnt orange to our eyes) makes passersby take notice, but the copper-tan interior tones things down. It’s a very pleasing pairing of colors.

Lime Essence exterior with Black Metallic interior

This color is a love it or hate it one. Bright green, verging on yellow is a very divisive color. Opinions in-house are, understandably, divided on this one. yours truly thinks that Lime Essence works better as an accent color, as seen on the interior.

Elwood Blue exterior with Obsidian Black interior

Vantage

This pairing was universally praised in the office. Your BMW-loving Editor says it’s reminiscent of Laguna Seca Blue, which is a good thing. The silver-on-black interior trim is another toned down, classy look befitting the Aston Martin badge.

Make sure to let us know which one is your favorite Vantage!
