The Latest and Coolest Toys for Gear-Heads!

Toys

We’ve all fallen victim in one way or another. We’ve all spent hard-earned money on unnecessary things, just because of our love and passion toward a certain brand, company, or team.

Sure, brands like Ferrari and Porsche have always had catalogs full of useless mementos, like Ferrari branded towels and Porsche snowboards, but the hottest items of 2016 are—toys!

Yes, because here at 6speedonline.com we closely follow man-child must-haves, we’ve noticed that Porsche, Ducati, Ford, Chevrolet, and of course, Ferrari have ramped up their toy licensing, specially when it comes to building.

You’ll most likely end up buying one, or all of these, so we’ve compiled a guide with all the newest sets, just for you.

Enjoy!

Porsche by Playmobil

Toys

Unlike LEGO, Playmobil never designed anything too cool, as all their stuff catered to ritzy and boring kids, that preferred safari sets than cool spaceships. But that changed when I saw this 911 Porsche Carrera S. Not only is the detailing impressive, but the headlights actually work, and you can even choose between the hardtop or the cabrio edition!

This kit will set you back around $50 bucks.

Ford Mustang and Raptor by LEGO

Toys

By far some of the most charming sets on the market, this photo actually represents two separate sets. One is the all-new 2017 Ford F-150 Raptor and a Ford Model A hot rod, and a separate set a 2016 Ford Mustang GT. The Raptor features fully working suspension, while the trailer and Mustang look awesome and have real moving parts.

These sets will set you back around $50 for the Raptor and $15 for the Mustang.

Ferrari by LEGO

Toys

Ferrari and LEGO go way back, as they were one of the first auto and toy company partnerships ever.

LEGO currently produces multiple Ferrari licensed sets, including some highly-advanced and expensive Technic models, like the F40 and FXX. But they also produce Formula One and racing sets, like the awesome one pictured above! These range from $30 all the way to $250 bucks.

Ducati by Meccano

Toys

Ducati recently announced that it’s commissioned Meccano, to produce a building set of the Monster 1200 S motorcycle.

Meccano produces its parts out of metal and not plastic, and with the huge following that Ducati has worldwide, I can expect these to be a huge hit! No pricing on these bad boys yet.

Corvette by LEGO

Toys

Few things are cooler than a bright yellow Chevy Corvette, and Chevrolet and LEGO know that. That’s why when they launched their Corvette building set, they made sure to make it in yellow with cool black wheels.

This “Speed Champions” set is only about 174 pieces total, and takes less than an hour to build. The attention to detail is quite good, and even though it’s not a high-end Technic set, it’s still pretty cool to look at. This one will set you back around $15 bucks.

What do you think, which one is your favorite?
