What’s the perfect recipe for a great motorcycle engine? Is it its power, the way it utilizes its power, perhaps its reliability, or is it the sound it makes?
Well, according to the folks at MCN, it’s a combination of all of those factors, and then some. Sure some legendary brands like Ducati will always own the hearts of many enthusiasts, but what about the others? As with most things, different qualities of particular engines may appeal to different folks.
It’s important to keep in mind that the motorcycles featured on this video all fulfill a different purpose, so judging them by how good they sound isn’t particularly fair, but in the end it’s the noise that will make heads turn, right?
I’m a big fan of the KTM 690 Duke, but I’ve got to admit that Triumph Daytona 675R sounds pretty darn good! What do you think?
