Still, with an as-tested price of $118,980, it’s remarkable Nissan’s supercar would share occupancy in my top-10, which includes (in no particular order) the likes of the Bugatti Veyron, Ferrari 458 Italia, Caterham Seven 360, and Audi R8 V10 plus.

My biggest surprise with this car was how German it felt. I love how solid this car feels. That’s why it speaks so much to my inner Porsche-Audi fanboy.
Speaking of Porsche, allow me to address the comparison rattling inside your mind. First off, “Porsche 911 Turbo or Nissan GT-R?” is a terrible question. Instead, it should be a proclamation: “Porsche 911 Turbo and Nissan GT-R”.
Yes, the cars compete, but imagine having a 10-car dream garage where one of these is parked next to a 991 Turbo S? You would be the coolest person in the world with your own perpetual magazine cover photo only a garage opener click away.
