The Acura NSX GT3 Racer is Wall Poster Worthy

In the eighties, I had the Lamborghini Countach, Diablo, and later on, the Ferrari F50 to ogle at on my bedroom wall, but what cars do current little ones look up to nowadays? Bugatti, Porsches? Well, by the looks of it, this Acura NSX GT3 racer could be one of them.

Unveiled at the New York International Auto Show, the successor of the old generation NSX for Japan’s fierce Super GT touring car series blew everyone away with its boyish looks and even evil aura. Ask me, and I think this NSX could devour baby lambs for breakfast, lunch and dinner with its massive carbon fiber grille.

Full specs haven’t been released yet, but it will most likely be powered via the twin-turbocharged 3.5-liter V-6 found in the road-going car, but send its power to the rear wheels only and not four, with a banging 6-speed fully sequential transmission taking care of business. Regardless of how fast it its, it looks like it’s already flying while standing still, so it’s already achieved supercar status in my book.

Acura says that whatever lessons they learn on the racetrack with this machine will be applied to future models of the street NSX… But, isn’t that always the case?

What do you think, wall poster worthy?
