Fiat boss Sergio Marchionne is pushing for a close collaboration between Alfa and Maserati as he begins to position Alfa Romeo as a BMW and Mercedes fighter. Part of this strategy is to take the brand back to an exclusive rear wheel drive lineup (no more rebranded Fiat hatchbacks!).
