This Saturday the ALMS rolls into the streets of Southern California  for For the seventh annual Tequila Patron American Le Mans Series at Long Beach. With five classes, a field of 34 cars, 11 turns, and the tightest hair-pin of the season, this is sure to turn into an all out street course brawl.

In P1, Muscle Milk/Pickett Racing hope to make it two wins in a row for their Honda Performance Development entry, while the Toyota powered Lola of Rebellion Racing will try to even the score. Dyson racing will be battling to improve on their Mazda powered Lola’s disappointing 41st place finish at Sebring.

In the all Honda/Michelin P2 class Extreme Speed Motorsports will battle to bring home the win for series and event sponsor Tequila Patron ahead of the Level 5 Motorsports team.

In the diverse GT class the Corvettes have a target on their backs, with SRT Motorsports’ Vipers, the Ferrari 458’s of Team West/AJR/Boardwalk Ferrari and Risi Competizione, Paul Miller Racing’s Porsche 911 GT3 RSR and BMW Team RLL pair of Z4 GTE’s all gunning for the top spot.

The Prototype Challenge (PC) spec class has a seven car field with PR1/Mathiasen Motorsports fighting to extend their lead in the points standing, after their class win in the 12 hours of Sebring.

In the GTC class, the ladies will all be watching car number 27 and driver Patrick Dempsey, as he fends off the other nine Porsche 911-GT3 Cup cars.

Also included in the GTC class are series veterans Alex Job Racing and, fan favorite, Flying Lizard Motorsports.
