Axe Murder Uses 612 Scaglietti for Practice

Even if the 612 isn’t the most popular Ferrari ever built, it doesn’t deserve this. Apparently a man in Scotland thought differently when he attacked the car with an axe and knife for no apparent reason. Yep. Horror movie style.
The owner of the car had left in the care of a shop to have a pump fixed. Over night, the masked man attacked the car with an axe, bashing in the the windows, and perforating the body of the Ferrari with dents and cuts. He even brought a knife to slash all the tires with before leaving. Although camera caught the entire ordeal on tape, unfortunately, the man’s mask makes him difficult to identify.
Rajinder Singh, the owner of the car, says he has no idea why someone would want to destroy his car. Costs for repairs are estimated to be about $62,000. Understandably, Mr. Singh isn’t too happy with the situation. He says, “The whole thing is a bad joke. I gave the garage a car worth more than £200,000, and they gave me back a car that is effectively written off.”
