Fever Heat: CDC Performance's Maserati Quattroporte
When you think of the Maserati Quattroporte, generally the first word that comes to mind isn’t “hot”. It’s elegant. Class pours from the ports on its fenders. When the guys at CDC laid their eyes on it though, they wanted something else. The result of their tinkering is a firestorm on wheels.

The first order of business was power. It makes 580 hp and 420lb-ft of torque, up from the relatively tame 400 hp the stock version comes with. Of course, big power means big speed and the Quattroporte will reach it’s limit at 186 mph. It’ll stop too thanks to the upgraded brakes and 22 inch wheels. The luxury cruiser gets turned into a full on sports car with this upgrade, but the biggest changes are on the outside.

Wald International is responsible for the “Black Bison” body kit on this car. They’re better known for their kits on Japanese cars, but this one looks wonderful on the quattroporte. The paint is Ferrari’s own “Rosso Corsa,” which helps explain why it’s so arresting.
