CLAwesome: Posaidon Tunes CLA45 AMG to 439HP
Posaidon, a German company, has done such cranking.
Three different power levels are available, of course. (I’ll preface this by saying their website isn’t great, so it’s hard to tell which parts are used for which level, but I think we can make an educated guess.)
First stage: An ECU tune that brings power up to 380hp/358tq. (from 350 stock). I’ve driven a stock CLA45, and they’re pretty fast. They accelerate with a comfortable rush of speed, like an Evo. This upgrade should have it near the 1Ms and 335s of the world.
Second stage: 400HP/361 tq. Where did that 335 go…. oh he’s back there. This is probably a more aggressive tune, and maybe a cat back. We can’t tell.
Third stage: 439HP/395TQ. Whoa. That’s a lot for the baby Benz. This has to be where the turbo-back exhaust comes in. I hope the half-shafts and transmission can handle it. If they can, this would be an awesome little sleeper for railing across counties. Though, if you’re spending the money, I’d advise some suspension upgrades and tires to help the turn in.
