CONFIRMED! Ferrari to Unveil First Full Electric EV Model In 2025

Prancing Horse will soon be a humming one, as Ferrari officially has announced an EV model for 2025.

Inevitability has brought us here. It’s the ultimate change in attitude towards performance. One of the last internal combustion hold-outs, Ferrari, has announced a future all electric model. According to Evo Magazine, it has been confirmed by Ferrari themselves that this new EV vehicle exists, but beyond that, only speculation exists.

Evo predicts the EV will be a hypercar fighter, as the Purosangue is already entering in the SUV market, and the La Ferrari is now aged. Obviously, hyper speed is something now inherently linked with electric power, so performance is assumed to be high. But what kind of form will it take now that traditional layouts are no longer setting the rules? Only time will tell.

But it’s not all quiet news from Ferrari. Before the Scuderia Batteria car arrives, Ferrari will grace our ears with a few new models. Evo Magazine suggests one of those models could be the Purosangue. Recent spy video contains the unmistakable sound of a V12, but there’s more sporting models on their way too.

One coming model will be an extreme version of an existing car, the 812 Superfast. It’ll be an ultra-high performance version of that car. Details of this vehicle are as plentiful as the EV, so there aren’t details to speak of at all. On the other end of the spectrum, Evo suggests Ferrari might make their own version of the Maserati MC20. It wouldn’t be the first time that a Ferrari carried V6 power, but it would be a first time that the brand specifically targeted a whole new demographic.

Ferrari may have avoided the affordable sports-car territory in recent years to keep the purists happy. But now it seems with an SUV and an EV on the horizon, that shark has already been jumped. To us it seems that a svelte, good handling, mid engine V6 ferrari might be a good swan song for the end of their golden era. They could even call it the Dino.
