The list starts off with BMW’s i8 key with a high-res LCD screen. I’ll be honest, this almost didn’t make the list for me. It’s over the top and a testament to our obsession with flashy tech – Just the thing for techies and Gen-Y’ers (not unlike myself).
But as e-douchey as it can be, it’s a seriously interesting piece. It tells you the electric Bimmer’s available range, gas levels, battery charge, and even allows you to pre-set the car’s temperature ahead of time. It’s a glimpse into every little techno-gadget we’d imagine feel like in the distant future.
