Our Dream House Has a 16 Car Garage!
People have different interpretations of what is their dream home. Some may want 30 rooms. Others might want a bowling alley in the basement. But for me, I want a huge garage.
The folks at HomeDSGN recently showed off my perfect dream house, complete with a car elevator and enough garage space to hold 16 cars. That sounds about right.
At 6,750 sq/ft, it has two bedrooms and two and a half bathrooms. For most people, that’s all they really need in their house. The garage is definitely the centerpiece of the house, and takes up two floors.
Two separate garage doors exist as well. To assist with moving a car from the big upstairs garage to the smaller downstairs garage, a car elevator is used.
Why would you need a two story garage with a separate front and back entrance? Because you can. The main living room, as well as many of the rooms in the house, have windows that can see into the garage.
The cars are treated like pieces of art, except they can be driven. There are even windows on the outside to see in.
No word as how much the house cost, but the old saying goes, if you have to ask you can’t afford it. It’s a beautiful house with a beautiful collection of cars on display. It’s where I’d want to live!
