How to Properly Drift a V12 Lamborghini Countach

Many modern cars are quite easy to slide due to an array of things. Items such as traction control, and stability control, or purpose built drift buttons like in the new Ford Focus RS. Things aren’t exactly rocket science anymore.

That’s why, when you see a supercar from the early eighties to early nineties sliding around something, the person has to be a fairly good driver. Because if they’re not, they’re dead.

What we have here then is definitely a showcase in great driving. Here is a proper V12 Lamborghini Countach sliding around what appears to be a auto cross event somewhere in the world. By all measurable means, this shouldn’t be possible.

The car is heavy, it has an extremely heavy clutch, you can’t see out of it, and that V12 sits right behind the driver making entirely too much horsepower. Oh yeah, and the tires are the size of a Nimitz class aircraft carrier.

This shouldn’t be possible. Yet, somehow, they’re doing it. Enjoy.
