Extremely Rare Pagani Zonda F Crashes in Italy

One of only 25 ever made, this Pagani Zonda F is already rare, but it has even more history that makes this a tough crash to see.
We’ve seen no shortage of cool cars meeting walls in our time, unfortunately. Cars getting crashed is just a fact of life. The cruel nature of a car crash has no sympathy for how exclusive, rare, or expensive a car is, and this is a painful reminder. One of just 25, this Pagani Zonda F that recently crashed in Italy is a rare beast. It goes deeper than that, too. Reportedly, this car belongs to Horacio Pagani, the founder of the legendary Italian hypercar manufacturer.
According to The Supercar Blog, this particular Zonda F was originally purchased by Benny Caiola, a long-time friend of Pagani. An Italian real-estate mogul, Caiola, died in 2010. Reportedly, he was the first customer to Horacio Pagani when his now iconic supercar manufacturing company was in its budding stages.

A Rare Beast and a Tough Sight
The Zonda F in question even seemingly has a paint code named after its original owner: Bianco Benny. In addition, The Supercar Blog reports that it has some upgrades from the Zonda Cinque and was ultimately number four of only 25 Zonda F examples Pagani built. For those unfamiliar, the Cinque variant of the Zonda is effectively a road-legalized version of the Pagani Zonda R, the company’s iconic track-day-only version of this legendary bit of hypercar history.
The crash happened during the 2025 Pagani Raduno in Italy. There are a few photos of the crash that seem to imply that the driver lost control and spun it into a wall back-end first. Of course, this is all speculative. We don’t know exactly what happened. What isn’t speculative, though, is the damage. It looks to be pretty substantial in some photos. However, individuals involved rather quickly covered the car as they inspected the damage. At the time of writing, there is no confirmation as to whether or not the driver was Horacio Pagani himself.
Ultimately, it’s always sad to see a historic and rare car get crashed, but it does occasionally happen. The good news is that it is in the hands of the owner and founder of the company. It’s in just about the best hands it could be in terms of getting repaired. Hopefully, then, the Bianco Benny Pagani Zonda F will be back on the road in no time.
