Koenigsegg Regera is a Burnout & Tire Shredding Machine

Well, it has woken up, and in a pretty vicious manner! Thanks to his video posted by Koenigsegg on their Facebook page, we can see just what the Regera’s gear-ess direct drive transmission and electric motors are capable of. The result is a thick, chunky and massive cloud of smoke in a burnout that’s just a hundred feet long or so.
There’s no doubt that electric motors deliver instant torque to the rear wheels, and this thing has a three of them. Personally, I’d love to see some onboard footage to see exactly what’s going on with the controls.
