A Pair of Lamborghini Replicas Surface, One of Them Actually OK

It seems like all the replicas under the sun have come out of the wood work, as we’ve come across a handful of Murcileago kit cars on the net recently. Not too long ago it was the “celebrity-owned” Murcielago, now it’s an Aventador Roadster, and even another Murcielago that actually looks pretty good. So what’s up with these?
For starters, Lamborghini replicas have actually been pretty popular in past decades. There’s something that motivates people to replicate the ‘ole Italian bull more often than the stallion from Maranello. Perhaps it’s the fact that most designs are easier to “copy” due to their hard lines and boxy proportions.
Toyota MR2-based Lamborghini Murcielago
According to the ad, the seller of this stunning Lambo replica needs to get rid of the thing — stat. Claiming a pending divorce, an “authentic interior,” and a fully functional pair of Lambo doors, this could be the replica you’ve always been waiting for!

Pontiac GTO-based Lamborghini Aventador Roadster
While the previous Lambo was a perfect example of a well executed replica, this disfigured machine is a perfect example of the complete opposite. Listed for sale on Autotrader is this Pontiac GTO that’s masquerading as a half-million dollar Aventador Roadster, though the term “masquerading” could be an exaggeration.
Listed for the ridiculously high amount of $33,000 bucks, the ad claims the original owner of this machine paid over $80 grand for it. Now that’s what we’d call a travesty!
