The Least Favorites: 2016 Cadillac ELR

I was excited to hear about the ELR’s release and even more excited to see the actual photos. It’s a gorgeous little coupe, really, it is. A bit odd to so readily brandish its Chevy Volt underpinnings, sure, but it’s revolutionary. It’s something the luxury world has yet to experience! I get it. Then you take into account the high sticker price (~$60K), the consistently meek/unclear reporting of its “about eight seconds” 0-60 time, and the fact that many of Cadillac’s dealers are actually not interested in selling the car, and there you have it, a lukewarm execution of an interesting idea.
