In the world of Porsche, Magnus Walker is well-known figure for his modified air-cooled examples that fetch a premium in this already over-inflated arena. Sung Kang, better known as Han from the Fast and Furious series, is also a well-known car enthusiast, who shot into the automotive public’s life last year with his FuguZ 1973 Datsun 240Z that stole the show at SEMA 2016.

Walker’s Porsche looks like it’s ready for a Vintage Auto Racing Association or Rennsport Reunion race, complete with the period correct livery and Hoosier competition tires.

Kang’s 240Z is similarly of-it’s-period yet nodding to the present with it’s fender flares, roll cage, Volk TE37 SL wheels and a beautifully tuned naturally aspriated RB26 inline-six engine and a massive 9000RPM redline.

Both cars are modern takes classic sports cars, which have been modified to promote a pure driving experience, with soulful, naturally aspirated engines full of character and lightweight chassis with just the right amount of grip. What happens when the two meet up in the beautiful Los Angeles’ hillside and trade cars for the day?

He obtained a bachelor's degree in Political Science at the Ohio State University in 2013, then pivoted from covering politics and policy to writing about his automotive adventures, something that, he says, is a lot more fun. Since that time, he has established connections with most of the world's major automakers, as well as other key brands in the automotive industry.

He enjoys track days, drifting, and autocross, at least, when his cars are running right, which is uncommon.
