This 2-door E30 Wagon Is The Best BMW At SEMA

The E30 bandwagon is in full-swing, but this E30 wagon stands out as one of the best. If you have ever wondered what would happen if an E30 M3 mated with a 325 Touring, this is precisely what you’d get. This wagon doesn’t sprout an extra set of doors though, as it remains a two-door. What it does sprout is an extra cylinder bank under the hood.

Out goes the legendary 4-cylinder M-power motor, and in its place is an M60 V8 motor, which moves the Henna Red forward with 300 horsepower. Given how clean it is under the hood, no one will fault them for a flawless swap. It’s mated to a 6 speed manual, so purists won’t have too much to complain about in that department either.

Riding on coil-overs, this E30 was made to be a mobile detail center. It was on display at Griot’s booth which why the back half of the car was converted the way it was. Open the hatch and you’re greeted with a water tank and a litany of car cleaning products. Crazy, but it is SEMA, after all.
