Mario Sueiras’ 1962 Alfa Romeo Giulia Spider up for Auction
Noted car collector, Mario Sueiras, is selling over 50 vintage cars at the 2019 Mecum Houston Auction.
The auction which will take place from April 4-6 at the NRG Center in Houston, TX. One of the cars that Sueiras is selling a 1962 Alfa Romeo Giulia Spider. It is expected to sell for an amount in between $80,000 and $100,000.
Mario Sueiras‘ Giulia has a grey exterior paint color and it is fitted with a 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine that generates more than 90 horsepower. The car’s mileage has not been disclosed yet. “The sparse brightwork appears excellent, and the jewel of an engine nestled snugly under the hood is properly finished in matte black with a slight crinkle and red-lettering “Alfa Romeo” at the helm,” Mecum Auctions states in the vehicle’s brochure.
Some of our readers may be unaware that Alfa Romeo’s cars was very popular amongst the driving enthusiasts in the 1960s and the 1970s. In particular, the automotive critics praised the Giulia for its nimble handling. Unsurprisingly, the classic car collectors still value it highly.
Some of the other cars that Sueiras is selling, include a 1957 BMW Issetta, a 1926 Ford Model T, a 1967 Chevrolet Camaro, a 1966 Ford Mustang GT Convertible, a 1961 Mercedes-Benz 190SL Roadster and a 1969 Jaguar E-Type Roadster.
